Deputy foreign minister visits Iran to boost ties

During his visit to the Middle-east country from April 11-14, the Vietnamese diplomat also affirmed Viet Nam’s policy of openness, multilateralisation and diversification of international relations at meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Motaki and other government officials.

The Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister briefed the hosts on Viet Nam’s achievements during the country’s 20 years of renewal process and informed them of the Southeast Asian country’s measures against the current financial crisis and economic recession.

Foreign Minister Motaki expressed his hope to expand cooperation in all aspects with Viet Nam./.
